You have some coaching training and you've been coaching others. And now you want to lift your game.

It's time to take your coaching skills to the next level. Coaching Excellence (Mentor-Coaching) advances your skills and abilities as a coach. We help you to:

  • Work off the rough edges in your coaching.
  • Build confidence.
  • Coach the person not the problem.
  • See greater client results.
  • Get, or renew, your ICF coaching credential.
We use a combination of 4 group and 3 hours of individual sessions, all over 3 months with one of our qualified mentor coach Instructors. The groups are limited to 10 participants to allow you to observe and practice coaching skills to build confidence in your ability to coach to the ICF Core Coaching Competencies.   

We use a process called Mentor-Coaching, which is required to become a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. This course will build your coaching abilities and meet the ICF requirements for mentor-coaching.

Coaching Excellence qualifies as the ICF-required 10 hours of mentor coaching to get an ACC, renew an ACC, or get a PCC. Coaching Excellence earns 15 ICF training hours within our ICF-approved Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate programs.



You Will Receive

  • The Coaching Excellence participant manual.
  • The COACH Model® Sheet with key questions.
  • Printed copies mailed to you if you're in the US.

Course Objectives

You will improve your ability to…

  • Effectively coach all 8 of the ICF Core Coaching Competencies at an ACC or PCC level.
  • Understand the very practical PCC Markers.
  • Use reflective practice to improve your coaching.
  • Partner for a clear and complete agenda for coaching sessions.
  • Coach action step creation.
  • Facilitate learning and results.

You will receive…

  • 3 hours of one-on-one ICF-qualified mentor coaching.
  • 4, two-hour group mentor-coaching sessions.
  • Documentation for 15 ICF Core Competency training hours.
  • Documentation for 10 mentor-coaching hours. (These hours are already calculated in the training hours above, so don't count them twice.) 

About this Course

Prerequisites:

  • At least 40+ hours of coaching training and 50+ hours of client coaching hours.

Additional requirements:

  • All group sessions must be done live voice-to-voice (ICF requirement). Missed Sessions may be made up for $150 per session.
  • Dates & times for the individual hours will be scheduled directly with your Instructor.
  • Individual hours must be completed within 4 months of the start of the program.
  • For individual one-on-one appointments, because an appointment removes the instructor from their marketplace, canceling or rescheduling within 24 hours of the agreed upon date & time, incurs a $150 fee.
  • Read The Reflective Journal for Coaches.

ICF Credit Hours:

  • 15 ICF Level 2 hours. All are Core Competency hours.
  • Fulfills 10 hours of mentor-coaching. (These hours are already calculated in the training hours above, so don't count them twice.)
