International Coaching Federation (ICF) Approval

After December 2022 all our courses are approved as Level 2, some as Level 1. Our Level 3 courses are offered in partnership with Zovak Consulting, the company of record with the ICF.  Our training programs from September 2011 to December 2022 were approved by the ICF as Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH). Participants using those training hours may apply for ICF credentials through their ACSTH application path. Details are here

Participation Enrollment Agreement

Success in our programs requires full commitment by all participants. By enrolling in this course, participants agree to being fully present during all sessions and participate to the best of their ability. This includes arriving on time, abiding by the code of conduct, and engaging in course activities.

Attendance & Making Up Sessions

In order to provide participants with the minimum required training hours for certification, it is important that they are present at all course sessions.

If a participant has an emergency or becomes ill and is not able to attend a session, they should contact their instructor and the Creative Results Management Office Administrator immediately. Participants will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside the live session to make up for the missed session.

To satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements, the number of sessions a participant can miss and make up by listening to a recording are:

  • Coaching Mastery Advantage: 25% of plenary sessions, 1 small group session.
  • Other Courses: up to 25% the sessions. (Except for Coaching Excellence, see below.)
  • Coaching Excellence (mentor-coaching): 0 sessions.

If a participant needs to miss more sessions than the above limits, they will have the option to work with an instructor to cover the missed material at their own expense or register for another course. Individual make up appointments will be billed at $150 per class hour.

For all individual one-on-one appointments, because an appointment removes the instructor from their marketplace, if a participant cancels or reschedules within 24 hours of the agreed upon date & time, a fee of $150 will be required.

Petitions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the Creative Results Management Office Administrator.

Course Engagement

Our courses are designed to be interactive and engaging for our participants. It is therefore an expectation that students participate in course activities, including dialogue with the course instructor and peers, practice coaching activities, and experiential learning exercises. If a student is unable to participate in an activity, they should inform their instructor as soon as possible.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner during all sessions. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Arriving on time to all sessions.
  • Attending all live sessions and mentor coaching sessions.
  • Having their microphone, sound, and camera on for remote live sessions.
  • Participating fully in all sessions and mentor coaching sessions. This includes being prepared for the session, involving themselves in discussions and activities, assuming responsibility for their learning, and contributing to the learning of others.
  • Engaging in discussions with integrity and honesty.
  • Being respectful of fellow participants and instructors, including silencing their cell phone, not texting, and other disruptive behaviors.

Completion Time Limit

Participants are expected to complete individual course requirements within 6 months. This isn't difficult. After 6 months they can still graduate but will be required to pay a $250 administrative fee. We hate charging fees, but it costs us to process late completions.

Participants should not confuse this course graduation requirement with a larger Level 1 or Level 2 graduation or a ICF coach credentialing requirements. The Level 1 and 2 Certificates do not have a graduation time limit. The ICF has no time limit to apply coaching training hours to a coach credential.

Confidentiality

All our courses include practice, usually with real-life situations as the coaching topics. Participants, instructors, coaches, and mentor-coaches all agree to keep conversations confidential. Illustrations used by Creative Results Management instructors and mentor-coaches maintain confidentiality by combining and changing details of several stories or are used with permission.

Participant names and contact information may be shared with the International Coaching Federation for the purpose of reviewing our program’s compliance with the ICF approval process.

Recorded Events Privacy

All classes may be recorded and posted securely for the personal use of participants only to review and/or to make-up a missed class. All individuals who have registered for the same class will have access to those recordings, as may future participants of that same class.

All registrations are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for a course is dependent upon receipt of full payment. We accept payment by US$ check, debit card, and major credit cards. All payment will be in US dollars.

Change, Cancelation, and Refund Policy

Written notice of change or cancellation shall be effective on the date received by Creative Results Management. Should a participant cancel their registration for any reason before an event begins, they will receive a credit on their account to use towards another Creative Results Management course, based on available space. Credits must be used within 12 months from the date the credit was issued. Credits may also be transferred to another person to use within 12 months from the date the original credit was issued.

A registrant may choose a refund if they cancel more than 14 days before an event begins, minus a $100 Administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 14 days before an event begins. Refunds will be made within 7 days following receipt of written cancellation request. To request a credit, refund, or to transfer registration to another person, registrants should contact the Creative Results Management Office Administrator.

Event Cancellation Policy

Creative Results Management reserves the right to cancel a course or event for any reason. The Creative Results Management Office Administrator will notify those registered by email and will refund all fees paid directly to us by registrants for that program within 7 days. Those affected by a cancelation may also choose to transfer to another course or retain the credit on their account.

Transfer of ICF Credits from Another Organization Policy

If someone has completed all or part of a Level 1 or Level 2 program at another organization, we may be able to apply their completed credit hours to our Level 2 program with Creative Results Management. (Transfers into our Level 1 program isn't possible.) They must provide documentation of their ICF-approved completed credit hours, including the organization, number of hours completed, completion certificate, and contact information for the organization or trainer. They may be asked for additional details or documentation on an as-needed basis. The ICF does not allow non-ICF-approved training or CCE hours to be transferred into a Level certificate program. There is a $100 Transfer fee for 60 hours from an ICF ACC, and a $200 Transfer fee for up to 60 miscellaneous hours. Please contact the Creative Results Management Office Administrator for more information.

Grievance Policy

Creative Results Management seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to attempt to solve any grievances in a timely and fair manner. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding presentation or content, facility concerns, or instructor behavior. All grievances will be addressed to the best of our ability to prevent further problems. A process for filing grievances can be found below:

1. A participant should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the instructor, staff, or participant with whom they have an issue. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual, they can proceed to step 2.

2. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual with whom they have a grievance, or are unable to resolve the issue directly, participants should submit a written grievance to the Office Administrator within 7 days. The Office Administrator will review the issue and talk to the participant within 7 days of receiving the complaint. The Office Administrator will work with all parties involved to resolve the issue.

3. If a participant does not feel the issue is resolved, a written request for an appeal should be sent to the President of Creative Results Management for review. This appeal should include the original complaint and reason(s) the participant is unsatisfied with the resolution attempt(s). Appeals are reviewed and a written response will be provided to the participant within 7 days. All appeal decisions are final.
